Hello! I’m Kelsey, a graphic and surface pattern designer working out of my studio in Chicago, Illinois. I have extensive experience in illustration, corporate branding, infographics, and art direction. Additionally, I have a deep passion for surface pattern design and create artwork for a variety of products. I love to tell a story through my work and frequently use my travel adventures, love of nature, and cat, Clooney, as inspiration. 

I started my journey as an artist at an early age. I was always drawing, coloring, writing and painting. My favorite activity was to write a story and then draw the characters in that story (one of my favorites involved a dinosaur who ate too much spaghetti). Those creative inclinations led to a degree in graphic design from Iowa State University. In the last few years I have discovered surface pattern design, which has led me back to my painting and drawing roots. I love to learn and am always looking for new skills and projects to challenge me.
